Don’t forget that the databases include Gale Virtual Reference, Pronunciator (foreign language learning), and Learning Express, including practice AP, ACT, and SAT tests here! You will need a library card number to access these databases.  If you would like some individualized help navigating these databases, please let the library know.

Happy New School Year!

Welcome back Titans!

Freshmen, welcome to Antelope!  You’re in for a great four years.  You probably won’t need to be in the College & Career Center much, but you are welcome anytime.  If you get a job or have a job, you will need a work permit.  You can print an application out in the Career Page, under Work Permits, or you can stop by and pick one up.  Once completely filled out, turn it in to me so I can get you an official work permit!

Sophomores, you also probably won’t be in the C & C Center too often, but if you have any questions, need a work permit, or a quieter place to study, here is the place!

Juniors, you’re going to start to see me a more this year!  Many of you will get jobs, start exploring your college and career options, and begin testing in the spring.  Come see me for questions and resources on all of those subjects.

Seniors, some of you might feel like you live in here this year. That’s okay! That’s what I’m here for – ask ALL your questions, pay attention to deadlines, and check in often to make sure you are not missing out on opportunities.

Parents, feel free to contact me with any questions you might have.  I deal with all things college and career.  That includes, but is not limited to: college applications, personal statements, financial aid, work permits, career assessments, scholarships, ROP/Career Technical Education, the Military, and anything else that relates.  The best way to contact me is by email, as I am in and out of my office all day with students, conferences, and events, and am often unable to answer the phone.  If you do give me a call, please leave a message – I do not see missed calls.

Staff, I am here for any questions or requests for help or resources you may need! I am always happy to present on any College or Career subject and will likely be contacting you if you teach Seniors to set up a time I can come speak to your students!

It’s going to be a great year Titans!  I get to… spend it with all of you!
